"Thomas the Tank Engine" is the Engpsh name of "托马斯小火车".
It originated from a series of children's books written by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry and illustrated by his son, Christopher Awdry. The first book was pubpshed in 1945 and the series became very popular, eventually leading to the creation of the television show "Thomas & Friends".
