罗山灵山寺位于河南省罗山县城涩港以南45公里处。其地山势奇伟，林木葱茂，寺宇掩藏。千年古刹灵山寺傍依少华山，寺院始建于北魏，距今有1500余年历史。是由唐明皇李隆基之女修建。

进了灵山的大门，绕过栏杆，就来到有名的莲花池。莲花池的池水非常清澈。这里一共有三个池，分别是“福”、“禄”、“寿”。莲花池里遍布着石莲花，想要从莲花池上过去，必需从石莲花上走过去，这叫“步步生莲”。走石莲花时一定要小心，不能太快。不然这么多的石莲花间缝隙不定，一定会掉进水里。

走完莲花池后，出现了一个巨大的莲花喷泉。上面有一个巨大观音手，拿着一个宝瓶。泉水从宝瓶里面涌出来，流到这个巨莲花里。

绕过巨莲花，坐上观览车一路参观着沿途的山景上了山。下了车来到灵山的内院，这里有一口井，据说当年朱元璋为摆脱追兵曾躲藏于此井内才逃过一劫。打上来的井水清凉透彻，用来洗眼睛表示“明目”。继续往前走，来到了四大天王殿。四大天王个个昂首挺胸，样子非常神气！一个手里拿着伞，一个手持琵琶，一个手持宝剑，一个手持赤龙。他们分别是多闻天王、持国天王、增长天王和广目天王。四大天王组合起来便成了“风调雨顺”。过了四大天王殿，来到千手观音殿。千手观音共有四十二只手臂，除去合掌的双手外，其余的四十只手都持有法器，各有普济众生的用途。走过千手观音殿来到一个莲花小潭。只要投的硬币可以落到中间的莲花芯上，就代表“事事顺“芯””。这里还有一棵美丽的古树，始种于清朝雍正时期，有三百年的历史。这棵紫薇树历尽百年风霜，依然是这么苍劲、挺拔。

灵山还有许多美丽的景色，说也说不尽。希望还有机会细细游赏。
